Cost of treatment: Around £30-50. Please check our price list.

Duration of treatment: It can last from 20 to 30 minutes.

What is Dermaplaning? Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape away the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as "peach fuzz") from the surface of the skin.

What is the treatment like? During dermaplaning, the skin will be held taut, and using a light, feathering motion with the scalpel, I’ll begin to remove the outermost layer of the epidermis. This process helps to exfoliate the skin, removing built-up dead skin cells and revealing a smoother, brighter complexion underneath. It's important to note that dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure, and the scalpel used is specifically designed for this purpose, minimizing the risk of cuts or injury. However, it's essential to have the procedure performed by a trained professional to ensure safety and achieve the desired results.

The benefits of dermaplaning include:

1. Exfoliation: By removing the top layer of dead skin cells, dermaplaning promotes a more even skin texture and tone.

2. Smoother Skin: The procedure can make the skin feel smoother and softer to the touch.

3. Enhanced Product Absorption: With the removal of the outer layer of dead skin, skincare products can penetrate more effectively into the skin, potentially increasing their effectiveness.

4. Improved Makeup Application: Dermaplaning can provide a smoother canvas for makeup application, as it removes peach fuzz and dead skin that can interfere with a flawless finish.

5. Temporary Hair Removal: The procedure also helps to remove fine facial hair, giving the skin a smoother appearance.
